We have worked with clients across the country.  If you have come to our site, we are sure that you have a lot of questions.  Here are a few of the main ones we get and feel free to contact us with your unique questions.

What is a prison consultant?

If you look around the Internet, you know there are a number of people who call themselves "consultants."  We consult, but we are experts in our field with years of experience in case management, counseling and supervision related to Bureau of Prisons policies.  When choosing someone to represent your interest, choose someone who can be trusted for their opinion, can stand up for you in federal court and who is a recognized expert.

Why should I hire a prison expert?

Few judges, prosecutors and attorneys understand post-conviction.  The information in a defendant's indictment, plea and Presentence Report, along with the information the judge states at sentencing have an impact on a person's life for many years.  Experts like us know how to help you navigate the system for the best outcome.

How much is it going to cost?

Each client is unique and we provide a complete proposal that states our scope of work.  Clients can add to, or take from that list to customize something that fits your need and budget.

Can you get me into RDAP?

Gaining entry into the Residential Drug Abuse Program has become a cottage consulting industry that is full of scams, overcharging and misinformation.  There is a policy that drives how people gain entry and whether or not they are eligible for time off as a result of participation in RDAP.  We know those policies and eligibility requirements.  If you meet those requirements, you will get into the program.  If you meet certain eligibility, you may get time off of your sentence.

What are the qualifications of the person who would work my case?

The experts who work our cases are professionals who have the qualifications to be presented as an expert in federal court.  We can provide Declarations, in-court testimony and the information we provide is backed by years of experience.

What should I consider when hiring a consultant?

Hire a professional and not someone whose experience is based on their own incarceration experience.  While we seek input and have contacts with those who have been in federal prison, their insights into policy and their ability to interact with federal authorities is limited.

Where can I go for reliable information on the Bureau of Prisons?

We provide an on-line reference, Prisonology X, that is offered at no cost.  It provides video, written content and links to policies that provide a breadth of information.  The Bureau of Prisons also has a comprehensive site (www.BOP.gov) that has a great deal of information.

Can you come visit me in federal prison to discuss my issues/case?

Yes we can.  We can arrange visiting with your attorney for a legal meeting or we can be put on your visiting lists for a face-to-face with you in prison (MDC, County Jails or most any federal facility).
